Kohli scored 73 runs from just 49 balls and became the first player in men’s cricket to reach 3000 T20I runs, which was counted by Kishan. He made a special mention of Ishaan’s batting style. Kohli said after the match, “I tried to do what I could, but they followed their instincts and it was a good innings in the first innings.

“When you play with such dominance in the IPL, as it is… he is a fearless character and he knew he is a well-off ball. He said that he is very calculating and restless. Is not. ”
Kohli and Kish added 94 runs in just nine overs for the second wicket as India restricted England to 164 for two in two overs.
Talking about his partnership with Kishan, Kohli said, “Today’s innings and partnership with him was necessary.”
