Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Werner took to Instagram to announce his ambition to reach the second Indian Premier League (IPL) final. Sharing a montage video of his IPL career, Warner also revealed his excitement of returning to India in the T20 franchise tournament. Sharing a video made by a cricket fan, the Australian cricketer wrote, “Thanks to @ha_ve_faith_inme for these highlights. It would be great to reach the final, but it would take a lot of hard work to achieve it. @ Iplt20 @ sunrisershyd #cricket #india “We can’t wait to come back to India.”

Known for his funny social media posts, Warner is a regular user of Instagram and is followed by his fans.
The Australian captain captained SRH to their only IPL title in 2016. SRHA beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by eight runs, Warner scored 69 runs in 38 balls. Chris Gayle (76) and Virat Kohli (54) also tried well in the match, but could not avoid defeat for RCB.
SRH also reached the final of IPL 2018, but lost by eight wickets against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
During the IPL 2020 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), SRH dramatically ranks third in the league table after seven wins and seven defeats. They lost to Delhi Capital (DC) in the qualifiers.
Warner finished third in the UAE’s Orange Cape Race, scoring 548 runs in 16 matches. He also recorded four half-centuries.
IPL 2021- is scheduled to begin in April 9, when defending champions Mumbai Indians will play Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the season opener. Meanwhile, SRH is scheduled to play its first match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 11 April.
